Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide personalized product recommendations based on their needs and preferences
- Educate customers through product demos, explaining effects, usage methods, and safety information
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for retail sales transactions and cash handling
- Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and assisting with inventory counts
- Upsell products by highlighting new or complementary items to enhance customer experience and sales
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting remote customers
- Conduct product demos to showcase features and educate customers about new offerings
- Handle cash register operations accurately, including cash drawer handling and retail math calculations
Skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers in multiple languages (bilingual preferred)
- Proven supervising experience or leadership skills in a retail environment
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge and merchandising techniques
- Experience with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail sales transactions
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and sales calculations
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Familiarity with cannabis products, including understanding effects, dosages, and safety precautions (preferred)
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to assist customers both in-store and over the phone
