Title: Electrical Commissioning Lead
Location: TN
Duration: 12 months
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: $65–$70/hr.
Schedule: 60-70 hrs./week
Per Diem: $115/day
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical commissioning activities, including system energization, breaker/relay testing, and loop checks.
- Supervise electrical technicians and interface with vendors, engineering, and construction teams.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide quick, effective solutions.
- Maintain commissioning documentation, test reports, and turnover records.
- Collaborate with other discipline leads for integrated system turnover.
- Enforce electrical safety standards and ensure compliance with site protocols.
Required Qualifications:
- 15 years of electrical commissioning, construction, or power generation experience.
- Demonstrated commissioning experience in gas or power projects.
- Strong background in medium/high-voltage systems, switchgear, transformers, and protective relays.
- Proven leadership of electrical crews in a commissioning environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight schedules.
- Commitment to safety and quality.
