Our client, a well-established Architecture and Engineering firm, is seeking an experienced Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS/PLS) to join their El Paso, Texas office. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed survey professional with strong leadership experience and a background in boundary, topographic, construction, and drone-based surveying projects.

Survey Operations & Project Management
- Lead and support survey field crews and office staff.
- Manage surveying projects including:
- Boundary surveys
- Topographic surveys
- ALTA/NSPS surveys
- Construction staking
- Platting
- Drone and ground-based mapping
- Coordinate schedules, deliverables, and quality control processes.
Technical Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain survey equipment including:
- Trimble GPS systems
- Robotic total stations
- Digital levels
- Data collectors
- Drones and scanning equipment
- Process, download, and manage survey field data.
- Prepare and review plats and survey deliverables for public and private sector clients.
- Support CAD drafting efforts utilizing Autodesk Civil 3D and related software platforms.
Leadership & Team Development
- Mentor and train survey personnel to support technical growth and project success.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, company procedures, and quality initiatives.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, engineers, and multidisciplinary teams.
You are required to have the following
- Active Texas Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS/PLS) license.
- Minimum 5 years of surveying experience following licensure.
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Boundary and topographic surveying
- Construction staking
- Plat preparation
- Survey data processing
- Experience with:
- Trimble field equipment and software
- Trimble Business Center
- Autodesk Civil 3D
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver’s license.
