Position Overview
The Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day Accounts Receivable functions including the master and city ledger billings, credit card settlements, and processing hotel credit applications, as well as handling customer service and guest inquiries. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

- Develop and implement efficient processes to ensure high-quality, consistent, and accurate results
- Lead and develop the accounts receivable team through hiring, training, motivating, evaluating, and supervising
- Identify and develop support materials for team use (e.g., SOPs; training manuals; job aids) to ensure Team Members receive adequate guidance and resources to accomplish department and Company objectives
- Develop and maintain metrics that assess quality performance and identify root causes
- Facilitate the collection process for all non-paid accounts and refer overdue accounts to collections
- Review credit requests and provide timely creditworthiness responses to customers
- Processes credit applications for property customers/groups requesting billing arrangements and timely collection of event deposits
- Responsible for the timely and accurate monthly billing of customers on master and city ledger accounts to ensure timely payment by customers
- Responsible for establishing a timely and accurate billing process for online travel agents
- Address and correct any discrepancies in accounts or billings; and resolve all credit card and all other payment disputes
- Ensure aging reports are timely reviewed
- Maintain control of credit card settlements to ensure all charges are processed timely and coordinate responses to all credit card inquiries
- Maintain strong communication relations with Hotel Sales and Convention Services staff
- Organize monthly meetings to communicate information and guidance from Company leadership and to review policies, procedures, and best practices
- Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary

- Associate Degree in Accounting or other related fields; or five (5) or more years of experience in lead Accounts Receivable role
- Previous property opening experience preferred
- At least three years of leadership/management experience
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office
- Demonstrated thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Proven effective leadership and management of assigned personnel with department lead preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks at once
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to organize effectively, delegate responsibility, solve problems quickly and communicate clearly
- Ability to provide leadership and direction contributing to the success of the organization through engaging, developing, and mentoring individuals and teams
