What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry-Level Transactions Associate / Dallas Office (2026) position at Foley & Lardner LLP?
Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking an entry-level associate/law graduate (class of 2026) to join the Business Law Department, Transactions Practice Group in our Dallas office in the Fall of 2026. Foley's Transactions Practice Group is integrated nationally and principally handles M&A and securities matters for publicly and privately held middle market/upper middle market companies, private equity funds, family offices and others. As a result, this position will involve working with Foley lawyers and transactions based in Texas, as well as various other Foley regions.
Our ideal candidate will have strong research, document drafting, and interpersonal skills. Qualified candidates will have relevant experience and/or coursework in corporate law, banking and finance, and/or financial regulation. We are seeking a well-rounded, detail-oriented, and highly motivated Business Law Associate who is willing to work hard. Summer associate law firm experience preferred. Strong academic performance required. To be considered, all qualified candidates must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school. Candidates must be or become admitted in Texas at the earliest opportunity, either by sitting for the Texas Bar Examination at the first available administration for which they are eligible or by applying for admission through transfer of a qualifying UBE score.
