Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Corporate Associate role headquartered in our San Francisco, CA office. The Corporate Associate will assist clients with corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, securities offerings, and governance matters. Responsibilities include structuring and negotiating agreements, conducting due diligence, drafting complex legal documents, and providing strategic legal and business advice to enable clients' continued success in an evolving marketplace.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, governance, and securities regulations.
- Skills in drafting, reviewing, and analyzing complex legal documents such as contracts and agreements.
- Expertise in conducting due diligence and delivering comprehensive legal research.
- Effective negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering practical solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to client needs.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and a current license to practice law in California in good standing.
- Prior experience in a law firm setting focusing on corporate law is strongly preferred.
