Project Coordinator – Order Operations
Location: Gainesville, GA (Onsite)
Pay: $25–$28/hour
Job Type: Full-Time | Non-Exempt (Overtime Eligible)
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to manage and oversee customer orders as full-cycle projects from initiation through completion.
This role goes beyond traditional order processing. You will be responsible for coordinating, tracking, and driving multiple active jobs simultaneously, ensuring timelines are met, information is complete, and communication flows effectively between internal teams and customers.
At any given time, you may be managing 30–50 active projects, each at different stages, requiring strong prioritization, follow-up, and ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage 30–50 active customer projects/orders simultaneously
- Coordinate projects from order intake through production and completion
- Act as the primary point of contact between:
- Sales
- Operations/Plant
- Customers
- Track project progress and ensure all required information is received and accurate
- Proactively follow up on missing details, approvals, and changes
- Maintain detailed and organized records in internal systems and Excel
- Identify and resolve issues that may delay timelines or impact project success
- Communicate regular status updates to customers and internal stakeholders
- Manage order changes, revisions, and updates throughout the lifecycle
- Ensure deadlines are met and projects stay on track

Qualifications Required:
- 2 years of experience in:
- Project coordination, OR
- Order/project management, OR
- Operations/logistics coordination with ownership of workflows
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects or tasks simultaneously
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in:
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred:
- Experience in:
- Manufacturing
- Construction
- Logistics or production environments
- Experience with ERP or order management systems
- Experience coordinating between multiple departments (sales, operations, customers)
Work Environment
- Onsite role in Gainesville, GA (not remote)
