Accounts Payable Specialist

Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
A growing manufacturing company in Woodstock, GA is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join its accounting team. This role offers a stable weekday schedule with Fridays off, supportive leadership, and the opportunity to make an immediate impact by helping improve AP operations and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Process high-volume vendor invoices and purchase orders
- Perform PO matching and invoice reconciliation
- Research and resolve vendor payment discrepancies
- Support month-end close activities and account reconciliations
- Maintain accurate AP records and vendor information
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding invoices and payments
- Assist with aging payables and backlog resolution
- Ensure timely and accurate payment processing
Qualifications
- 2 years of Accounts Payable experience
- Experience with invoice processing, reconciliations, and vendor management
- Strong data entry and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems/ERP software
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
- ERP experience such as SAP, Epicor, JDE, MRP, or similar systems is a plus
Schedule & Benefits

- Flexible start time between 7:00 AM–8:00 AM
- Up to 32 hours/week
