Responsibilities
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized speech therapy treatment plans
- Assess and treat residents with communication, cognitive-linguistic, voice, and swallowing disorders
- Complete clinical bedside swallowing evaluations and dysphagia treatment as appropriate
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans and recommendations
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, dietary personnel, and rehabilitation team members
- Complete timely and accurate documentation using Net Health and PointClickCare (PCC)
- Maintain compliance with company policies and state and federal regulations
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and resident goal development
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and/or Long-Term Care (LTC) settings preferred
- Knowledge of dysphagia management and cognitive-linguistic rehabilitation
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate resident care
