Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
- Motivate and encourage residents throughout their rehabilitation journey
- Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory guidelines
- Contribute to a positive, patient-centered therapy environment
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current Pennsylvania PTA license or eligibility for licensure
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
- Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred, but not required
