🎯 The Opportunity

FOCO is seeking a Licensing Manager – North America to support the execution of our regional licensing strategy across sports and select entertainment properties.

Reporting to the Director of Licensing, this role will focus on managing day-to-day licensor relationships, overseeing product approvals, coordinating royalty reporting, and ensuring compliance across assigned portfolios. The Licensing Manager will work cross-functionally with Product Development, Sales, Finance, and Operations to ensure licensed products move efficiently from concept to market.

This is an ideal opportunity for a licensing professional with 2–5 years of experience who is looking to grow within a fast-paced, high-volume sports and entertainment environment.

📊 What You’ll Do

🎾 License Portfolio Execution

• Manage day-to-day relationships with assigned leagues, teams, and entertainment licensors
• Serve as primary contact for operational communication and approval workflows
• Support seasonal line reviews and planning meetings
• Escalate strategic or executive-level matters to the Director as needed

📝 Product Approvals & Brand Compliance

• Oversee submission and tracking of product approvals across assigned portfolios
• Partner with Product Development and Design to ensure compliance with brand standards
• Monitor approval timelines to support on-time product launches
• Ensure adherence to licensing agreements and contractual obligations

💰 Royalty Reporting & Financial Coordination

• Support royalty reporting processes in partnership with Finance
• Track sales performance against contractual guarantees
• Assist in forecasting licensed revenue and monitoring performance metrics
• Maintain accurate licensing records and documentation

🤝 Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Sales, Product Development, Sourcing, and Operations
• Support retail presentations and internal reporting as needed
• Contribute to renewal discussions and category expansion initiatives in partnership with the Director

✅ What You’ll Bring

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in licensing, consumer products, brand management, or related field
• Working knowledge of licensing agreements, royalty structures, and approval processes
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Proficiency in Excel (tracking, reporting, basic forecasting)
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills

Preferred

• Experience working with major sports leagues (NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, MLS, NCAA)
• Exposure to entertainment or character-based brands
• Experience in retail, wholesale, or DTC environments
• Familiarity with licensing compliance systems or royalty reporting tools
