The FOCO Summer Design Internship offers a hands-on opportunity to work alongside a team of talented creatives designing merchandise for the biggest sports leagues and entertainment brands in the world.
This 10-week program is perfect for students who want to turn their passion for design, sports, and fandom into real-world product experience.
🧠 What You’ll Work On
Interns will support the FOCO Design Team in areas such as:
- 🖌️ Graphic Design for Print and Packaging
- 🖌️ Pre-Production Artwork for Products Development
- 📦 Product Mockups & Concept Development
- 🎨 Illustration for Apparel, Collectibles & Accessories
- 🧢 Sports & Pop Culture - Themed Product Art
- 📊 Presentation Boards for Licensing and Retail Teams
- ✍️ Branding & Typography in Licensed Merchandise
You’ll have the opportunity to build your portfolio with actual projects, while gaining feedback from experienced designers and insight into the fast-moving world of sports merchandise.

✅ Who We’re Looking For
- Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program
- Pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Illustration, Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Strong understanding of visual layout, color, typography, and brand aesthetics
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- A portfolio that showcases creative thinking and technical skills
- Passion for sports, entertainment, or fan-based consumer products
- Ability to work on-site in Piscataway, NJ and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
