Snow Manager

Lead Winter Operations. Build Strong Teams. Make an Impact.

At Focal Pointe, snow operations are more than plowing snow; they are about preparation, leadership, fast decision-making, and delivering reliable service when our clients need us most.

We are looking for a Snow Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can confidently lead crews, coordinate subcontractors, manage logistics, and oversee winter weather operations from planning through execution. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems in real time, leading teams under pressure, and taking ownership of operational success during snow and ice events.

If you are organized, decisive, safety-focused, and motivated by leading people and operations, we would love to meet you.

What You’ll Do

As the Snow Manager, you will lead and coordinate all snow and ice management operations throughout the winter season. Responsibilities include:

  • Planning and managing snow routes, staffing plans, subcontractor coverage, and equipment readiness
  • Monitoring weather conditions and helping coordinate storm response plans
  • Leading snow crews and subcontractors during active weather events
  • Managing scheduling, dispatching, routing adjustments, and operational communication
  • Visiting properties during storms to ensure quality service and contract compliance
  • Supporting labor management, material usage, reporting, and operational cost control
  • Training and developing snow personnel with a strong focus on safety and accountability
  • Partnering with Branch Managers, Account Managers, and Operations teams to ensure excellent service delivery
  • Reviewing post-storm performance and identifying opportunities for improvement
Qualifications:

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years of experience in snow operations, field operations, or operations management
  • Experience leading crews, coordinating subcontractors, and managing operational logistics
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to make quick, informed decisions in changing weather conditions
  • Experience managing schedules, routing, labor, equipment, and operational priorities
  • Comfortable working extended and irregular hours during winter weather events
  • Valid Driver’s License with approved driving record

Aspire experience is a plus, but not required.

Why Join Focal Pointe?

At Focal Pointe, we believe strong operations start with strong people. We are committed to building teams that value professionalism, communication, accountability, and service excellence. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a critical operational role where your leadership directly impacts clients, crews, and overall branch success.

You will work alongside experienced leaders, support operational strategy, and help create a high-performing winter operations program.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site leadership position. Snow operations require flexibility, urgency, and teamwork. Work hours may include early mornings, evenings, overtime, on-call responsibilities, and extended hours during snow and ice events, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
