Responsibilities:
The Patient Accounting Analyst plays a crucial financial role in minimizing bad debt and maximizing revenue to meet Genesis Business Excellence goals.
- Report to Manager, Private Collections
- Manage Accounts Receivable for non-delinquent and non-estate accounts with the goal to improve Days of Sales Outstanding (DSO), reduce DSO Target Ratio and improve the collection ratio.
- Research and verify all new patient responsible person information.
- Contact patient or responsible party as aged and at the appropriate time present and offer payment options.
- Monitor Cash Receipts Journal for payments.
- Transition accounts for Estate, Probate or Bankruptcy changes to designee.
- Associate's Degree or 2 years or more of Accounts Receivable experience is required.
- Experience working in high volume environment is required.
- Must have a customer service orientation.
