What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator position at Flowly Solutions?
Flowly Solutions is hiring for skilled production machine operations for our manufacturing team.
These positions are full time and offer weekly opportunities for overtime. The schedule will be Monday through Friday, no weekend work will be required. We are flexible on the exact schedule you will be set during the week, based on your availability.
We are seeking candidates with prior experience in a manufacturing environment. This position is very monotonous and has a labor aspect to it. You will be required to stand for extended periods of time to complete your projects. You must be highly detail oriented to be successful in this role. The work day will be spent running multiple machines simultaneously to create a wide variety of products. We are willing to train the right employee to operate each of our machines.
We are a relocation business specializing in moving, assembling and repair. We offer a variety of other services as well.
Responsibilities:
- Completing all training and certifications to perform all job duties
- Learning to operate a wide variety of manufacturing machines
- Creating custom products for each customer
- Performing basic calibrations and programming of the machines
- Gathering raw materials to be used in each project
- Maintaining the production floor and keeping the facility clean
- Reporting defective products to your manager and the quality assurance team
- Inspecting your work to ensure there are no defects or damaged products
- Using measuring tools such as a caliper or micrometer effectively
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working as a machine operator or in a production environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Experience reading and understanding detailed written instructions
- Knowledge on how to use hand and power tools is a plus but it is not required
- The ability to lift 40 pounds
- Reliable transportation to work
- No formal education is required
