The Senior Accountant will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of the IFC operating group. This position is responsible for performing month-end close activities, maintaining the general ledger, analyzing financial results, and ensuring accurate inventory valuations.

Position Summary
The Senior Accountant will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of the IFC operating group. This position is responsible for performing month-end close activities, maintaining the general ledger, analyzing financial results, and ensuring accurate inventory valuations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
- Provide accounting support to field operations
- Oversee and serve as backup for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Perform revenue and cost recognition accounting functions
- Analyze balance sheet and income statement fluctuations
- Manage corporate daily, weekly, and monthly financial reporting
- Perform weekly cash reconciliations
- Maintain a strong internal controls environment
- Support special ad hoc projects and financial analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (CPA track preferred)
- Experience in public accounting (Big 4 or mid-tier) or corporate accounting/reporting
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting rules/regulations
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel; experience with Epicor Prophet 21 is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; customer-facing experience preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
- Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Must be able to fluently read, write, and speak English
