Restaurant Server – Evening Availability Required
Florio’s Italian Restaurant & Grille – Lincoln, NE
Florio’s Italian Restaurant & Grille is looking for friendly, dependable, and motivated servers to join our front-of-house team.
We are looking for people who enjoy working with guests, communicate well, and take pride in providing attentive, professional service. Previous restaurant experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.
Candidates must be at least 19 years old to serve alcohol.
Schedule & Availability
This is primarily an evening position. Please apply only if you have regular evening availability.
Our current hours of operation are:
- Monday–Thursday: 4:00 PM–9:00 PM
- Friday–Saturday: 11:00 AM–10:00 PM
- Sunday: 11:00 AM–9:00 PM
Servers must be available for dinner shifts during the week. Weekend availability is also important and may include lunch or dinner shifts.
Both full-time and part-time positions are available.
What You'll Do
As a server at Florio’s, your goal is to create an excellent dining experience by providing friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive service.
Responsibilities include:
- Greet guests promptly and create a welcoming atmosphere
- Learn our food menu and confidently answer questions and make recommendations
- Become knowledgeable about our wine list and proper wine presentation
- Learn our selection of spirits, cocktails, and other beverages
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using our POS system
- Deliver drinks and food accurately and in a timely, professional manner
- Check on guests throughout their meal and anticipate their needs
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen, bar, hosts, and other servers
- Maintain clean and organized tables and service areas
- Complete assigned opening, closing, and side-work responsibilities
- Follow Florio’s service standards and alcohol-service requirements

Previous serving or restaurant experience is valued, but it is not required. We are willing to train candidates who demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.
