Florida Trucking Association seeks a proven executive leader to serve as President & Chief Executive Officer. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational performance of the Association.
The CEO oversees financial management, legislative and regulatory advocacy, membership growth and engagement, staff leadership, and external relations. The position serves as FTA’s chief spokesperson and represents the Association before policymakers, industry partners, and allied organizations at the state and national levels.
Qualifications include: senior executive leadership experience; strong financial and organizational management skills; demonstrated success in government relations or advocacy; exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities. Experience in associations, transportation, logistics, or other regulated industries is strongly preferred. Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
