Compensation

Base Salary Performance-Based Commission Company Vehicle

$40,000-$45,000, based on experience

Total Earnings Potential

$70,000-$85,000 expected range based on performance, with strong performers consistently exceeding $100,000 and no cap on earnings

As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for advancing a high-opportunity territory by strengthening existing customer relationships and generating new business through disciplined field execution and consultative selling.

This role prioritizes converting transactional business into long-term Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) relationships while maintaining disciplined gross margin performance. You will step into a territory that includes approximately $360,000 in existing VMI business, with the expectation that you protect, expand, and multiply that foundation through consistent activity and strategic execution.

Key Responsibilities - Drive Measurable Results

  • Execute a strategic territory plan that grows revenue and strengthens account penetration
  • Maintain and expand approximately $360,000 in existing VMI business while developing new customer relationships
  • Prospect consistently through cold outreach, referrals, networking, and on-site visits
  • Identify and advance opportunities to convert customers into long-term VMI partnerships
  • Maintain margin discipline and sell within approved pricing guidelines
  • Collaborate with inside sales and operations to ensure accurate pricing and service execution
  • Maintain pipeline discipline, activity tracking, and performance visibility
  • Be fully accountable for territory performance, growth trajectory, and sustainability of the territory book

Performance is evaluated based on revenue growth, VMI conversion effectiveness, margin discipline, and long-term sustainability.
