Construction Senior Commercial Estimator – Miami, FL
Lead, Mentor, and Elevate a Growing Preconstruction Department
A respected commercial builder is growing its estimating team in Miami and is seeking a Senior Full Division Estimator to support large-scale pursuits and strengthen the full preconstruction cycle.
This is a strategic role, ideal for an estimator who brings both technical excellence and a professional presence, and who values the responsibility of taking projects from pursuit through GMP, contract, and full procurement.
The Role
You will estimate one or more major divisions for complex commercial projects while collaborating with junior estimators and a bid coordinator already in place. This position is designed for someone who enjoys both the craft of estimating and the leadership side, coaching, reviewing, and setting the standard for accuracy and professionalism.
Project portfolio includes:
• Airports and ports
• Hospital and healthcare complexes
• Higher education and private school facilities
• Performing arts and cultural venues
• Mixed-use commercial projects ranging from $50M to $250M
What Matters Most
• Senior-level experience estimating major divisions (self-perform not required)
• Ability to take a project to contract: scope alignment, bid leveling, subcontractor relationships, procurement strategy
• Confidence reviewing and guiding junior team members while modeling professionalism and accountability
• Strong industry relationships and the ability to build trust with subcontractors
• High personal standards , communication, presentation
• Desire to grow within an organization that values long-term career progression
