We're looking to add a Flooring Junior Estimator & Project Coordinator to our essential office staff who will help us grow and continue delivering exceptional service.
The Role:
This is not your typical office job. If you're looking for a job where you're sitting behind a desk every day doing the same thing, this position isn't for you. This multi-faceted role combines estimating and project management responsibilities, and there’s room for growth into leadership roles as you develop your skills and knowledge. You will be trained in the ins and outs of the construction industry, and you’ll play a key role in supporting both estimating and project execution. We need someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and ready to take initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
Estimating:
- Bid Sourcing & Response: Download and print plans and specs, and respond to bid invites.

- Change Order Management: Managing, pricing, and tracking all change orders, plan revisions, and RFI's.
- Team Collaboration: Working with our company’s on-site crew to proactively solve problems. Creating pick tickets for our warehouse to use to gather necessary materials that need to be delivered to the project site in a timely manner.
- Creation of project work order packages: provide work order tickets, which detail specific instruction unique to each project; and creating and distributing detailed layout prints for installation of floor finishes specified on a project
Qualifications:
- Attention to Detail: You must have impeccable attention to detail and be able to locate and process information that may not be readily available.
- Problem-Solving Skills: You should be able to identify issues and come up with solutions quickly and independently.
- Technology Savvy: Strong computer skills are required. You’ll need to work in G-mail, Microsoft Office, Dropbox, and industry-specific software like RFMS Measure, RFMS Core, and RFMS Warehouse.
- Time Management: Excellent time management skills are crucial to handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Professional Attitude: We need someone with a strong work ethic who is comfortable working independently and within a team.
