Remanufacturing Support Associate
Location: Carlisle, PA
Job Type: Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt
Pay: $17.00–$18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
Position Overview
FSIP Electronics is seeking a Remanufacturing Support Associate to join our team in Carlisle, PA. This position supports our remanufacturing operations by performing a variety of hands-on tasks including assembly and disassembly, soldering, testing, cleaning, and preparing electronic products.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, is comfortable using tools, and takes pride in producing quality work. Work assignments may vary based on production needs, providing the opportunity to learn different areas of our remanufacturing process.
What You'll Do
- Assemble and disassemble electronic devices using small hand and power tools.
- Remove and install electronic components through soldering.
- Clean, sand, paint, label, and prepare components throughout the remanufacturing process.
- Test products using various testing equipment.
- Select the appropriate procedures, techniques, tools, and equipment for assigned work.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Assist with training and guiding coworkers as needed.
- Perform additional duties based on departmental and business needs.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 1 year of experience using hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and organized.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness and ability to learn new skills and take on different responsibilities.
- Prior soldering or electronics experience is helpful, but not required.
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform activities including walking, bending, lifting, climbing, and repetitive motions, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Work Environment
This is an on-site position at FSIP Electronics in Carlisle, PA. The position works in a production/remanufacturing environment with a moderate noise level. No travel is required.
