BILINGUAL (FRENCH SPEAKING) HR ASSISTANT

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and professional Bilingual French-Speaking HR Assistant in the Fairfield, OH area to identify, interview, and place qualified candidates in a variety of positions. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both French and English and have excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Recruit, screen, and interview candidates in both French and English.
• Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and other recruiting methods.
• Conduct phone and in-person interviews to assess qualifications, experience, and job fit.
• Communicate with French-speaking candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.
• Match candidates with appropriate job opportunities based on skills and experience.
• Coordinate interviews, background checks, drug screens, and other pre-employment requirements.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity in the company database or ATS.
• Assist with job postings and recruiting campaigns.
• Follow up with candidates and clients regarding hiring status.
• Maintain confidentiality of candidate and company information.
• Provide excellent customer service to both clients and job seekers.

Qualifications:

• Fluent in French and English, both written and verbal.
• Previous recruiting, staffing, human resources, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and computer-based recruiting systems.
• Professional, dependable, and able to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience recruiting in manufacturing, warehouse, skilled trades, or industrial environments.
• Experience working with French-speaking candidates or international applicants.
• Knowledge of employment and staffing practices is a plus.
