As a Case Picker, you will work individually selecting products from warehouse pick slots using a pallet jack or other equipment. You will either use order sheets or RF Scanner. You will then efficiently stack the items on a pallet, shrink wrap the pallet and stage the at the shipping dock or load on to trailers to be delivered to customers. You Must follow all regulatory and company safety standards, policies and procedures when performing these tasks.
Job Description
- Ensure all orders are picked accurately while maintaining the products quality and integrity.
- Utilize necessary pick sheet and RF Scanners to select product
- Operate pallet jack to move cases
- Stick labels to the appropriate cases
- Use shrink wrap machines to safety secure the product on the pallet
- Move pallet with an electric pallet jack to shipping dock or to load on to customer trailers for delivery
- Keep work area clean
- Complete equipment inspection form
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- HS diploma or GED
- 1 years’ operating warehouse equipment
- Basic math skills
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius while wearing company provided PPE and freezer gear
- Ability to tolerate heights up to 50 ft and be able to access elevated product from inside safety cage
