Welder

Kenner, Louisiana: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking experienced Welders. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in MIG, TIG, and Flux Core welding and be capable of producing high-quality welds in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties:
• Perform MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), and Flux Core (FCAW) welding on carbon steel and stainless steel materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications.
• Execute semi-complex fitting and layout tasks to ensure proper assembly and fabrication.
• Produce watertight welds on both thin and thick gauge materials.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Work effectively on day or night shifts as assigned.
 • Complete welding test requirements during the interview process.

Requirements/Skills:
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficiency in GMAW (MIG), FCAW (Flux Core), and GTAW (TIG) welding processes.
• Experience in semi-complex fitting and layout.
• Advanced welding skills in at least two of the listed welding processes.
• Ability to produce watertight welds on both thin and thick gauge carbon and stainless steel.
• Successful completion of a weld test during the interview process.
• Must provide own welding helmet and personal welding gear.
 • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Physical Requirements:
• Capable of manual dexterity and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, kneel, climb, and work in various positions as required.
 • Ability to work in industrial environments with exposure to heat, noise, and welding fumes while following safety protocols.
