Job Summary:

The Tool & Die Apprentice will learn the skills needed to build, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot tools, dies, molds, and fixtures used in a manufacturing environment. This position works under the guidance of experienced Tool & Die Makers while completing hands-on training and apprenticeship requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the construction, repair, and maintenance of tools and dies.
• Learn to operate machine shop equipment and precision measuring tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Help troubleshoot tooling issues and support production needs.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety and quality standards.
• Participate in apprenticeship training and skill development programs.
• Work closely with team members and supervisors to complete assigned tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Interest in machining, manufacturing, or skilled trades.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills.
• Good attendance, dependability, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.
