Parts Coordinator

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Parts Manager to join our team in a dynamic diesel/heavy duty repair shop. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our facility, ensuring parts are ordered timely and properly, ensuring inventory is current, providing excellent customer service, and building and maintaining great vendor relationships.

Duties

• Issue parts from inventory to technicians
• Process warranty cores for returns
• Maintain proper inventory of parts and supplies
• Manage core returns and new purchase returns timely
• Purchasing and receiving stock orders into the parts system
• Conduct physical inventory once a month
• Maintain a working relationship with vendors
• Timely and accurately estimate jobs
• Order, receive, and invoice parts for technicians
• Enter parts invoices into QuickBooks
• Enter part details into FullBay shop software

Qualifications/Essential Functions

• Strong organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Ability to work autonomously
• Ability to multitask
• Previous experience in a manufacturing facility, warehouse, or factory setting is preferred.
• Able to lift and carry materials
• Ability to assist technicians when necessary
• Peform various physical duties as assigned
• Familiarity with operating forklifts is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing tasks as needed
• Previous heavy duty diesel parts ordering experience is a plus
• QuickBooks and FullBay experience is a PLUS

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
