What are the responsibilities and job description for the SUPERVISORY INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN) position at FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST?
You will serve as the Chief Information Officer in the located at the Fleet Readiness Center, Southwest, Naval Air Station North Island (NASNI) in San Diego, California.
In addition to my experience demonstrating the four competencies above, your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience includes: 1) Display expertise in managing the entire lifecycle of IT systems, from procurement and budgeting to data governance and security. You must demonstrate the ability to align information resources with strategic goals, solve complex technical problems, and ensure compliance. This includes taking full ownership of IT strategies, project performance, and managing risks. 2) Provide evidence of leading, managing, and motivating IT teams to enhance productivity and achieve organizational goals. Your experience should include hiring, performance management, staff development, and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment where employees feel motivated. 3) Demonstrate the ability to clearly and persuasively communicate complex IT strategies, project statuses, and technical information in writing. Qualifications:
