Your Opportunity
Fleet Landing is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Director of Wellness [Full-time] to oversee our Wellness and Transportation programs. This role is responsible for developing innovative wellness offerings, managing fitness and transportation operations, and ensuring exceptional resident experiences across all dimensions of wellness.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and evaluate comprehensive wellness programs that support physical, intellectual, social, emotional, spiritual, and vocational well-being.
- Oversee daily operations of the Fitness Center, including classes, equipment, safety, and instruction.
- Manage the Wellness and Transportation budgets and ensure adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.
- Direct the Transportation Program to meet routine and special transportation needs of residents.
- Develop communication materials such as newsletters, calendars, and program announcements.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and community partners.
- Foster a positive team culture that encourages creativity, engagement, and high-quality service.
- Ensure a safe environment by following and enforcing all safety procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Broad knowledge of wellness and fitness programming; experience in a senior living, health, or CCRC environment is a plus.
- Strong communication, customer service, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic office technology.
- Ability to work collaboratively, motivate staff, and provide exceptional service to older adults.
- Ability to perform a variety of physical tasks (standing, bending, lifting, etc.) with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Adherence to attendance, grooming, and appearance standards.
