We are looking for:
We are seeking energetic, detail-oriented, and customer-focused team member to join us as Escape Room Instructor and VR Game Host. In this dual role, you will operate high-tech VR equipment, lead guests through immersive Escape Room experiences, and ensure every guest has a safe, smooth, and fun adventure from start to finish.
What you'll do as a Game Master/Host:
Escape Room Instructor Duties:
- Greet and brief players on game rules, storyline, and safety protocols.
- Monitor escape rooms via camera systems and provide tailored hints.
- Reset and inspect escape rooms quickly and thoroughly between groups.
- Maintain cleanliness, room integrity, and prop functionality.
- Provide a debrief experience post-game and take group photos.
VR Game Host Duties:
- Guide guests through game selection, orientation, and VR safety instructions.
- Operate VR equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a smooth game launch.
- Monitor player movement in the VR arena and assist as needed.
- Sanitize and maintain VR gear (headsets, controllers etc.).
- Deliver top-notch customer service to ensure a memorable experience.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (College preferred but not required).
- Prior experience in customer service, hospitality or entertainment is required.
- Prior experience in Escape Room Hosting or Gaming is preferred.
- Comfortable with technical troubleshooting (We’ll train you).
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, outgoing attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
- Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods and move quickly between tasks.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform light cleaning/resetting duties.
Hours:
Must be able to commit a minimum of 30 hours per week, be flexible to be available to work on short notice, and be available to work weekends.
