Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly with a positive attitude, providing a welcoming first impression.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
• Assist guests with inquiries, directions, and any special requests to enhance their experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and waiting areas.
• Use POS systems such as Toast and OpenTable to manage reservations and seating logs accurately.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate table assignments and service flow.
• Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information and taking reservations when needed.
• Busses and sets tables.

Qualifications

• Previous host/hostess experience or food service background preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities.
• Familiarity with restaurant operations and POS systems like Toast and OpenTable is a plus.
• Experience in hotel or guest services enhances your ability to connect with diverse guests.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a lively environment while maintaining professionalism.
• Exceptional phone etiquette and guest relations skills are essential for success.

Pay: $17.16 - $18.00 per hour
