Your Mission in This Role
The Senior HR Generalist will provide dedicated HR support to a warehouse operation, serving as the primary HR contact for the Peru location and a trusted resource for employees. This role will support performance management, compliance, recruitment, and HR operations. You will play an important role in fostering a positive workplace culture
This individual is proactive, collaborative, and process-oriented, with the ability to build trust quickly and serve as a steady HR presence. They are comfortable operating across both strategic and hands-on responsibilities, and are motivated by the opportunity to support culture, strengthen processes, and contribute to a cohesive HR function across locations
What You’ll Get to Do
- Serves as the primary HR lead and main point of contact for the Peru warehouse location, providing day-to-day support and partnership to local leadership
- Acts as a resource for employees and managers to address concerns, mediate conflicts, conduct investigations, and foster a supportive work environment, ensuring fair treatment and alignment with company policies and organizational culture
- Partners closely with warehouse leadership to support performance management efforts, including coaching, employee development, and disciplinary actions to help drive accountability
- Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and employment regulations, proactively addressing concerns and guiding leaders on best practices
- Maintains accurate, up-to-date employee records in compliance with legal and company standards, ensuring secure storage, timely updates, and easy access to support HR reporting and audits
- Manages employee leave administration, including FMLA, personal, medical, and other company leaves, ensuring accurate tracking, compliance with applicable laws and policies, and clear communication with employees and leadership throughout the leave process
- Serves as backup support for payroll, ensuring accuracy and continuity in processing
- Assists with various HR projects and work closely with the HR team to support key initiatives and foster a cohesive, high-functioning HR department
- Collaborates with the Director of HR and department heads to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies
- Manages the full-cycle recruitment process in the ATS, including sourcing and attracting candidates, screening and coordinating interviews, facilitating hiring team communication, and overseeing offer development and onboarding—while ensuring a positive and seamless candidate experience throughout
- Establishes and maintain recruitment metrics in collaboration with the Director of HR to track the effectiveness of hiring strategies, identify areas for improvement, and ensure alignment with company goals

- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms is preferred, with experience in Paycom considered a strong plus
- Experience with Canva and HubSpot is preferred, but not required
Experience That Sets You Up for Success
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred; an associate degree is required
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in HR is required;
- Required to travel once per quarter with overnight stays to our corporate location in Michigan
