Job Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and manage dry plant startup and shutdown procedures.
- Assist the maintenance team in maintaining the dry plant.
- Calibrate, operate, and maintain laboratory equipment per procedures and manufacturer requirements.
- Obtain samples and conduct sieve and turbidity tests for washed or finished sand grades.
- Maintain records and samples in accordance with company and API standards.
- Monitor and report out-of-spec processes at the wash and dry plants, assisting in corrective actions.
- Perform tests and analyze results from defective units to identify failure causes under the direction of the Plant Manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous lab or plant operator experience is preferred.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders multiple times daily.
- Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs.
- Basic mechanical skills and knowledge of mining safety/environmental regulations.
- Ability to pass toxicity tests and obtain medical clearance for respiratory protection.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Proficient in standard computer applications (word processing, spreadsheets).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Must engage in strenuous physical activities such as standing, squatting, kneeling, and making visual inspections.
- Required to wear personal protective equipment as necessary.
