Duties
- Use forklift trucks to safely move raw materials, finished products, and tooling within the warehouse and production areas
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on industrial equipment
- Assemble components using hand tools and welding techniques while adhering to safety standards in manufacturing environments
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to verify specifications and document measurements for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification with demonstrated safe operation skills in materials handling environments
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and shop math principles
- Skilled in using precision measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and understanding GD&T for quality assurance
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments including proper use of PPE and machine safeguards
- Ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment issues efficiently and perform basic factory maintenance tasks
- Excellent communication skills for interpreting technical documentation and collaborating within a team environment
