The Human Resource Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organizations human resource department.
Essential Duties
- Prepare orientation packets
- Prepare welcome packets
- Orientation: Collect IDs, E-Verify, run videos, tour at the end.
- Print badges
- Enter new hires in Kronos
- Create folders
- Enter new hires to Crewing, Performance Reviews, Referral Bonus
- Filing
- Put up and take down communication and job postings
- Log applications for AA
- Terminations – pull hard file and I-9 form
- Scan disciplinary records
- Administer Tech Testing
- All other duties as assigned
Education/Certification Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior administrative or office support experience required (1 year preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll inputs, human resources information systems (HRIS), and similar computer applications.
