Requirements
Essential duties:
- Review, code, and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system
- Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents
- Prepare weekly check runs, ACH payments, or other disbursements
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Respond to vendor inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable files and documentation
- Support the finance team with additional duties as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous accounts payable or general accounting experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience with accounting software (ERP systems) a plus
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
