The successful candidate will be responsible for parts receiving and returns, and maintaining a well-organized parts room, enabling the efficient flow of vehicles through all stages of repair.
THE ROLE:
The Parts Coordinator is a central role in the repair process and responsible for ordering, dispatching and organizing the parts department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participating actively in daily production meetings
- Ordering replacements parts
- Receiving and mirror matching parts to ensure accuracy in support of the repair plan
- Enter parts and sublet invoices in software, and confirm profit margins
- Coordinate with technicians and shop staff for each vehicles progress from arrival to delivery
- Maintaining and organizing parts carts, staging areas and parts area
- Delivering parts to technicians and parts carts as required
- Ensuring returns are promptly issued from vendors
- Maintain professional and positive vendor relationships
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of related experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Auto industry experience preferred
- Solid organizational skills
- Excellent computer skills and ability to adapt to multiple software platforms
- Strong verbal, written and listening skills in English
- Spanish language is a bonus
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a motor vehicle background check
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Ability to work 8-5 Monday to Friday. No weekends
