Body Shop Parts Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and organized Parts Manager to oversee the parts department of our automotive service facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive parts knowledge and QC/Production management, along with a passion for the automotive industry. This role is crucial in ensuring that all parts are available, properly managed, and efficiently distributed to meet the demands of our service operations.

Duties

• Manage inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of automotive parts and supplies.
• Oversee receiving and dispatching parts to techs.
• Collaborate with every department to understand parts needs for repairs and maintenance.
• Implement effective planning strategies to optimize inventory.
• Ensure accurate pricing of parts and maintain competitive pricing strategies.
• QC Vehicles. Pre & Post Scans.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors for effective procurement management.
• Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
• Utilize automotive diagnostics knowledge to assist in identifying necessary parts for repairs.

Experience

• Proven experience in Parts or a similar role within the automotive industry is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge, particularly related to auto body repair and equipment repair.
• Familiarity with automotive service processes, including shipping, receiving, and demand planning.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing inventory levels.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating leadership capabilities.
