Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site General Manager position located in Clarksville, TN. The General Manager will oversee the daily operations of the gym, ensuring a high-standard member experience, fostering a positive team culture, and meeting business objectives. Key responsibilities include managing the staff, driving member engagement and retention, overseeing membership sales, maintaining facility cleanliness and equipment functionality, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety protocols. The manager will also be responsible for budgeting, financial performance, and community engagement activities to grow the club’s reputation and membership.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and team management skills to inspire and lead staff effectively
- Experience in sales, promoting membership growth, and achieving revenue targets
- Operational management expertise, including budgeting and financial oversight
- Exceptional customer service, conflict resolution, and communication skills
- Organizational and time management skills to balance multiple priorities
- Proficiency with business software, such as CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, or equivalent tools
- Knowledge of fitness industry standards and trends is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
