Fit Recruiting is partnering with a well-established, multi-location, growing organization headquartered in Mobile in search of a hands-on Human Resources Manager. We are someone who is ready to lead, innovate, and make a real impact. In this role, you’ll own all aspects of Human Resources—from recruiting and compliance to benefits, payroll, and employee engagement. This is a highly visible, hands-on role ideal for someone who brings energy, structure, and fresh ideas to the table. Salary is in the $80K - $95K range depending on experience.
Duties:
- Lead full-cycle recruiting and onboarding
- Maintain employee records and manage personnel actions
- Ensure multi-state compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Administer payroll, benefits, compensation, and PTO programs
- Analyze salary data to ensure competitive compensation
- Partner with leadership on employee relations, EEO, and policy guidance
- Design engaging new-hire orientations and performance review processes
- Develop and implement HR policies and best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field
- 6 years of progressive HR experience (generalist multi-state exposure preferred)
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- SHRM-CP or PHR a plus
- Passion for culture, engagement, and continuous improvement
Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
