About the Role
Reporting directly to the CFO, our HR Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting our entire workforce. We're seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our team and drive all aspects of HR in a hands-on, impactful role.
Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruiting: sourcing, interviewing, selecting, and onboarding top talent
- Maintain accurate employee records and handle personnel transactions (hires, promotions, performance reviews, terminations)
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (including multi-state considerations); develop and update policies as needed
- Administer payroll, benefits (health/dental, supplemental insurance, 401(k), PTO), and compensation programs
- Analyze salary data to maintain competitive compensation plans
- Advise managers on policies related to EEO, benefits, safety, and employee relations
- Design and conduct new employee orientations to inspire a positive company mindset
- Oversee performance review processes for fairness and effectiveness
- Create and implement policies on interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, safety, and harassment prevention
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- At least 6 years of progressive HR experience (generalist background preferred, with multi-state exposure a plus)
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- SHRM-CP/PHR certification is a plus!
- Passion for employee engagement and bringing energy/innovation to the team
