What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packaging Graphic Designer position at Fit & Fresh Inc.?
Packaging Graphic Designer – Fit Fresh
Who We Are
We’re for every woman balancing work, life, and everything in between—showing up, standing out, and making it all look effortless (even when it’s not).
We design bags that work as hard as she does—thoughtful, functional, and built for real life. From lunch bags to coolers, travel to diaper bags, our products combine smart features with style to support her wherever the day takes her.
Designed by women, for women—because when she’s doing it all, her bag should too.
The Role
In this role, you’ll play a lead role in the development and execution of consumer-facing packaging and retail merchandising across the organization. From initial concept through final production, you’ll help bring our products and brand to life across packaging, displays, and other physical retail touchpoints.
You’ll work closely with the Marketing and Design teams to elevate and evolve our packaging. This will include contributing to a broader brand refresh and helping us build greater consistency across categories, while also managing day-to-day packaging deliverables in a fast-moving environment.
We’re looking for someone who can see the bigger picture while also being exceptional in the details—someone who understands how packaging systems work across a brand, but is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves to design, refine, render and release work quickly and accurately.
A core part of the role will be taking packaging from concept through production, including designing, rendering and releasing files to our production partners. You’ll also develop retail merchandising vehicles such as CDUs, pallets, floor displays and in-store signage, and support Sales with renderings, planograms and fast-turn opportunities for key retail partners including Walmart and Target.
You’ll collaborate closely with Product Design, eCommerce and Marketing to help create consistency across consumer touchpoints and ensure our packaging supports both the product story and the broader Fit Fresh brand.
We’re also excited to bring in someone who is curious and forward-thinking about how we work. Whether through new tools, including AI, or more efficient processes, we’re looking for someone eager to test, learn and help us continuously improve our approach to packaging development.
This is a highly collaborative, in-office role based in Providence, RI. Our team does its best work together—reviewing samples, iterating in real time, and building ideas as a group—and we’re excited for you to be part of that energy.
What We’re Looking For
- A strong designer with experience in packaging, retail, or consumer products
- Someone who can operate at both a 30,000-foot level and in the details—thinking strategically while executing day-to-day work
- Experience designing for retail environments, including packaging systems and merchandising displays
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight timelines
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, especially in production and file preparation
- Collaborative and proactive, with the ability to work across Product Design, Sales, Marketing, and eComm teams
- Curious and open to new tools and technologies (including AI) that improve efficiency and output
What Success Looks Like
- Packaging that is visually compelling, on-brand, and executed flawlessly at retail
- Strong alignment between packaging, product, and marketing storytelling
- Efficient, scalable packaging development processes
- Ability to balance long-term brand initiatives with fast-turn retail needs
- Meaningful contribution to brand evolution and in-store impact
