Job Description:
This position is accountable for building customer’s orders by placing product on pallets throughout the warehouse filling the order by locating products, loading the products and building a stable load. Will be operating a Walkie Rider.
Job Duties:
- Perform a combination of tasks to prepare customer orders for shipment
- Operates warehouse vehicles and equipment (pallet jacks, walkie-riders) through all areas of the warehouse to collect product from pallets, shelves and other storage areas
- Learn all product / date codes
- Build a stable pallet containing a variety of shapes and sizes; continuous lifting
- Read shipping orders to review products being selected and evaluate the way to build the
- Accurately pulls product and wraps orders for bulk trucks and side load trucks/keg trucks; HEAVY Lifting required
- Assists with loading On-Premise trucks
- Decision making, thoroughness and time management a must
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced warehouse operation and learn product locations
- Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Must be able to constantly lift 20-50 lbs.
- Work experience in warehouse preferred
- Must pass all pre-employment screenings including a physical, drug test and background screening
