SMS- Sales Merchandising Specialist
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Job Description: This position is accountable for assigned stocking, merchandising, rotation, and displays. Assist with permanent point-of-sale (POS) materials.
Job Duties:
- Visit assigned stores daily to breakdown truck and work back stock to stock displays, shelves, coolers and bunkers with all brands and packages sold by the company.
- Inspect vehicle conditions. Will be driving a company supplied van
- Working in a cooler in stores
- Rotate stock per procedures on expiration dating
- Where required build displays-install or distribute promotional materials
- Assist with cooler resets as directed by Sales Manager
- Ensure POS is visible
- Ensure the products being delivered and that which is already in the account are properly rotated within the cooler, displays and backroom
- Safely handle all pallets and unsold product to prevent damage
- Breakdown orders in a timely fashion and put product away in cooler, backrooms and other storage areas. Organize back stock and discard all trash in its place
- Adheres to dress code standards governing appearance
- Works steadily and constantly without jeopardizing the quality of work
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2 years of Sale experience
- Ability to work with computer programs associated with the performance of the position
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
- Have strong customer service and interpersonal expertise
- Decision making, thoroughness and time management a must
