Purpose:
The Sales Director is responsible for the overall sales/commercial strategy for Fisher Dynamics. This position will Identify long-term strategies to achieve high level of customer satisfaction in both commercial and technical capacities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth communication channels to maintain and build customer & supplier relationships
- Act as escalation point with customer/supplier management as necessary
- Mentor, develop, and retain talent
- Foster a collaborative and innovative environment for sales, purchasing, and cost teams
- Provide quote strategy for current and new business
- Monitor market situation of customer requirements, competitor activities, and automotive trends to maintain and grow market share
- Oversee program controlling of all new business quotes and financial models from gate 0 - gate 4 hand off to plant
- Support cost team in defining and tracking of new program budget
- Program Income Statement
- Cash flow
- CAPEX / Tooling
- Monitor program IRR, payback, EBITDA multiple of overall BP
- Support in identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, and establishing long-term partnerships
- Benchmarks processes and competitiveness
- Assure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services
- Enforces corporate compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Education
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or engineering.
Master’s degree preferred.
Experience
5 Years’ experience in Automotive Manufacturing
8 Years’ experience in Sales, with at least 2 years’ managerial experience
Skills
Leadership and team management
Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential
Understanding of the 3 financial statements and how they correlate to one another
Ability to learn and study on own to achieve understanding of core products
Self-starter, motivated, take pride in work
Advanced sales forecasting and the ability to analyze data to find trends
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Customer Systems
A strong understanding of market and product services is important
Quick decisions, quick thinking in intense negotiations
The ability to perform well in fast-paced, target-driven environments
Strong negotiation skills are vital for growing and maintaining business
