We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Antioch, IL. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our products are received, handled, and shipped efficiently and safely. What You’ll Do
Primary Responsibilities
- Move finished goods that have been staged and palletized on the production floor to the shipping and receiving area.
- Prepare finished products for shipment by properly wrapping and securing all pallets.
- Load and unload products and raw materials from trucks.
- Receive incoming goods, verify items against shipping records, inspect for damage, and route materials to the appropriate department.
- Maintain high accuracy in product selection while efficiently and safely loading trucks to support on-time, error-free deliveries.
- Conduct pre-shift forklift inspections and report any defects, damage, or safety concerns immediately.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, including:
- Walkie riders
- Reach trucks (with camera systems)
- Sit-down forklifts
- Clamp trucks
- Floor scrubbers
- Create and manage bales of recycled paper and dispose of them as necessary.
- Retrieve recycling containers (gondolas) and empty them into the baler throughout the day.
- Assist production staff with collecting and emptying garbage bins at the end of the day, as needed.
- Perform daily warehouse and shipping area cleanup duties.
Food Safety & Compliance
Follow all company safety and food quality standards, including:
- GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
- HACCP guidelines
- GFSI standards
- Sanitation and safety policies
Shift Schedule
🕒 Day Shift Position - Monday – Friday | 6:40 AM – 4:00 PM (overtime may be required based on business needs)
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 6 months of warehouse or related experience
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work - Team player with strong attention to detail
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, WMS)
Experience with ERP or inventory systems is a plus.
