Purpose
The Latitude Margaritaville at Hilton Head Compliance Coordinator is a key advisor to the Community Association Manager. The role creates value for the Association by conducting regular inspections within the community for compliance to the Association’s Governing Documents and adopted policies & procedures and makes recommendations to the Community Association Manager and Board of Directors for compliance actions.

Purpose
The Latitude Margaritaville at Hilton Head Compliance Coordinator is a key advisor to the Community Association Manager. The role creates value for the Association by conducting regular inspections within the community for compliance to the Association’s Governing Documents and adopted policies & procedures and makes recommendations to the Community Association Manager and Board of Directors for compliance actions.
Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
Operations and Compliance Management:
- Conduct regular inspections of home lots and homes for compliance with Association governing documents, adopted Association policies, and proper completion of approved ACC/ARB decisions.
- Assist Community Association Manager by meeting with homeowners to educate them on the importance of compliance, provide helpful solutions to meet requirements, and address concerns of corrective actions taken.
- Review Association licensure, permits, and other regulatory requirements for compliance.
- Conduct inspections of Association property to ensure compliance with community standards.
- Recommend violation actions that may arise from damage to Association Property or violation of governing documents or adopted policies.
- Perform any other tasks as may be assigned by the Director of Operations and the Community Association Manager.
- Prepare and complete regular reports of the inspection and compliance process to be presented to the Community Association Manager and Board of Directors.
- Meet regularly with the reviewer to review applications for accuracy, recording, application decisions, and communicate results of the decision to the homeowner.
- ACC/ARB projects ensure correct documentation by way of before and after photographs date and time stamped are uploaded onto homeowner accounts in Connect.
- Update Use Restriction lists and notify other staff members of any use restrictions updates.
- Review and report all breaches of the Use Restriction to the Community Association Manager.
Technical competencies:
- High School diploma.
- Demonstrated experience in successful personal service delivery in a customer facing environment.
- Demonstrated experience evaluating compliance variances to standards and policies in a practical environment where ambiguity may exist.
- Demonstrated mastery of business and interpersonal communication practices
- Ability to work with proprietary software and Microsoft Office365
- Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- This is an onsite role and 60% of the working day will be outside in the community
- Standing, sitting, walking and occasional climbing
- Required to work at a personal computer for extended periods of time.
- Talking on the phone for extended periods of time.
- Required to provide valid driver’s license – driving daily will be required.
Compensation/Work Schedule
- $21.00 per hour
- Full-Time
