A growing company in the Bethlehem area is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its expanding finance team. This is a newly created position due to company growth and acquisition activity, offering strong long-term career potential and exposure to a dynamic business environment.
This position will report 100% onsite. Looking to hire ASAP!
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
- Prepare journal entries and financial reports
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close
- Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support AP and AR processes
- Conduct cost analysis and assist with manufacturing cost tracking
- Assist with internal and external audit preparation
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and finance teams
- Support implementation and improvement of accounting processes and controls
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3 years of accounting experience required
- Manufacturing industry experience required
- Experience with QuickBooks required
- ERP system experience preferred
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
