We’re looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team and support day-to-day accounting operations and the close process. This role offers strong exposure to the general ledger and a variety of core accounting functions, making it a great fit for someone looking to build experience and grow within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and alignment with GAAP
• Prepare and post journal entries, maintaining clear and organized supporting documentation
• Perform bank reconciliations and support ongoing cash management processes
• Contribute to accounting activities across cash, accruals, and payroll
• Analyze account balances and research variances or unexpected fluctuations
• Support the preparation of internal financial reports and reporting requests
• Respond to questions from operations teams related to billing, payments, and account activity
• Assist with audit processes by preparing schedules and gathering required documentation
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and accounting procedures
• Help maintain and improve accounting workflows, including identifying opportunities for efficiency and automation
• Support implementation and use of financial systems and tools
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of processes and procedures
• Collaborate with accounting and finance team members on ongoing initiatives
• Participate in ad hoc reporting and special projects as needed
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience (general ledger or public accounting preferred)
• Working knowledge of GAAP
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Preferred
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Blackline, or similar
• Background working in multi-location or multi-entity environments
