What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Accountant position at firstPRO, Inc?
Staff Accountant – Up to $70k
What You’ll Do:
- Perform all accounting functions in an accurate, timely fashion
- Monthly bank reconciliations prepared and maintained in an accurate, current manner.
- Submit accurate, timely, and complete reports
- Perform all program-funded and fee-for-service billings and all contract billing
- Assist Controller with special projects as needed
- Maintain records of each program and service
- Assist in gathering and reconciling data for annual audit as required
- Prepare monthly allocations entry by program for Admin, Payroll, and other allocable expenses
- Ensure bank deposits are made on a daily basis and transfers are made on appropriate days
- Reviews, adjusts as necessary and performs monthly data upload from the billing system into the accounting system
- Assist and serve as backup for annual budgets
- Serve as backup for monthly Board Financial Reports
- Performs other duties as deemed necessary
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with Accounting or Business Concentration
- Grants and Contracts Administration
- Non-Profit
- MIP Software
Salary : $70,000
